Hey friends, I found this new  challenge recently where you are to create a card based on an image someone has "pinned" from Pinterest. How cool is that? The funny thing is that the DT are known as "Pinheads"! LOL! The image given this week is a winter inspired gray scene with a touch of blue and green. Hey crafty friends, I hope your doing well. We ended up getting a little ice weather last night. I am sure the roads will be slick today. I can deal with the snow but ice is a different monster. The hubby and I are so ready to get out of NY and vacation somewhere warm. We have been looking at cruises. Have you ever been on one? Oh my goodness! I was rushing around this morning to finish my card for the latest Little Tangles Challenge #5. The theme this week is buttons. I thought I had about 15 minutes left until I realized the challenge ended at midnight, not noon. Silly me! I hope your having a great weekend. Hey friends, Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays to make cards for. The only problem is that I end up with so many cards for this holiday but I only need one. LOL! What do you all do with your extra cards? Especially the "LOVE" themed ones? I made this card with the latest CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge #11 in mind. Hey friends, Happy Inauguration and MLK Day! Have any of you in the U.S. actually been to the Inaugural event? I think that would be so neat to add to my bucket list to be part of such a significant moment in history. Did you have a great weekend? I worked on painting our master bathroom. In our (fun) downtime the hubby and I went golfing and met some friends at a local sports bar to watch the playoff games. I think it is so neat that the coaches of the two teams in the Super Bowl this year are brothers. WOW! I wonder who the parents will root for! LOL! Hello, Did you have a great weekend? The hubby and I golfed 18 holes in Sweden. LOL! Okay, actually it was a virtual indoor golf course in New York but we felt like we were in Sweden. We had a great time. There are 100+ golf courses to choose from all over the world. You bring your own clubs, balls and tees and tee off at a huge indoor screen. When your ball hits the screen it will drop to the floor but in the virtual world it looks like it's still going towards the hole. How cool is that? I paper pieced the house image from the Sweet Home set. Neat and Tangled had their new release this past week and it was awesome. Hey friends, Are any of you going to CHA? If so, you are one lucky individual! I would love to go. I wish they would have one in NYC. I would so be there. I couldn't imagine how fun it would be to have a couple of days looking at all of the new crafting goodies, while meeting so many blogging buddies. Hey friends, We had some excitement in our neighborhood yesterday. There is a couple that lives across from us that has moved somewhere south. Their house has been vacant for awhile as they are trying to sell it. The problem is that they shut off the power to their house and with the freezing temperatures, things happen. Our street was filled with fire trucks, volunteer fire fighters and town department cars last night as it was discovered pipes had busted in the house and it was full of water. No telling how long it has been flooded as one of the helpers noted that the basement was full of water along with other areas of the house and mold is growing on the wall throughout the house. Hey crafty friends, How's your week going? We have had so much fun around here at our house as we are babysitting my in-laws pup. Her name is Bailey and she is this cute little westie. We have two westies of our own, so at the moment we have three of these little girls roaming around. LOL! They have a ball playing with squeaky toys and when we let them outside, it is so funny to see them run and jump off our deck to play in the snow. Hey friends, Boy has it been a lazy morning for me. The hubby went to bed early last night and I caught the crafty bug. I stayed up late last night making cards and watching old episodes of "The Real Housewives of Miami", don't judge me! LOL! The hubby and I have scheduled some massages at our favorite spa to de-stress from the holidays. I can't wait! Hey friends, How was your New Years? The hubby and I did absolutely nothing. I mean it, LOL! We built a fire and stayed in our pj's all day long watching tv. It was fabulous! Happy New Year friends! Did you dust off your dancing shoes yesterday for a night on the town? The hubby and I rang in the New Year with some other couples at one of our friends house. The girls had a great time chatting, the guys spent time discussing whatever it is guys talk about and the children ran wild around the house. LOL! Fun times. Here are a couple of pics...
