Card Pattern Sketch #92...

Image
Hey girls, I found this awesome blog called Card Patterns. It is a weekly sketch challenge blog that provides these great sketches to inspire a card layout. The sketch this week is their 92nd one! Wow! I have had this cute patterned paper in my stash for awhile now and have been meaning to put it to good use. So I created this "sweet" card! Thanks for stopping by for a visit! Brandi

Mini Sports Blog Hop...

Image
Hey girls! I have something fun to share with you this morning! A few blog friends of mine got together for a fun mini sports blog hop. We challenged each other to take the colors of our favorite sports team and create a card using those colors for inspiration. My team is the New York Jets, so green and white it is. I went through all my supplies to see what I actually had in green. I was definitely limited! Oops! I worked with what I had on hand and this baby card is what I came up with. Make sure you hop on over to Karen next on your sports hopping journey to see what team she favors! If you get lost along the way, below is a list of all the sports fans! Peace on Earth...

Hey y'all, I am just under the wire posting this card for the latest Holiday Die-Cut Challenge at Caardvarks. I went to AC Moore the other day and fell in love with Making Memories new Christmas line this year! The two types of ribbon that I used were from that collection. I also picked up these holly berry stickers by Martha Stewart and the Peace on Earth stamp from the dollar bin! Thank you for stopping by for a visit! Brandi

So Thankful...

Hey y'all, I hope you had a wonderful start to the week! I sure did considering we got our first SNOW of the year! Can you believe it? I have been living up north for about 6 years and this is the earliest that it has snowed, that I can remember. The hubby said he heard it through the grapevine that we are in for a long, snowy winter. I say "Bring it on"! I love nothing more than to be curled up on the couch, by the fire, with a good book in hand. I just hope the weather doesn't get to bad to soon. I have a trip to Arkansas planned at the beginning of December to see my family!    I wanted to share a set of thank you cards that I have been working on. I kept it really simple by just stamping a flowered image and adding a few rhinestones and a sentiment. I absolutely loooove this hand scripted sentiment from Dawn's Raspberry Suite signature stamp collection. Her handwriting rocks! I wish I had beautiful script. I tend to write in all capital letters as taugh

I'm Seeing Blue...

Hey girls, Hope you had a wonderful weekend and most importantly remembered to turn your clocks back! It was so great getting that one extra hour of sleep. I wanted to share a card I made for the latest Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger Challenge. I must say that this definitely was a challenge for me. I hardly ever use bold colors, especially blue. All I can say is that I tried, maybe that will count for something! :) Thanks for stopping by, Brandi

Wee Memories Challenge #29...

Image
Hey girls, Hope y'all are doing well this Wednesday afternoon. I wanted to pop in to share a card I made for the latest Wee Memories Challenge #29. This weekly Saturday challenge site by Jenny is by far my favorite. I love the themes she comes out with every week. If you have a chance come play along. This weeks theme is free for all! You are allowed to make whatever you want with whatever theme you desire. I chose to make another Christmas card with one of my favorite stamp sets of the season. This reindeer is part of the latest stamp  set called Retro Christmas from Practicing Creativity! Last week I mentioned that I would show some pics of the pumpkins the husband and I carved this year. Problem is that we never carved any, we were busy with other things and time slipped away. Don't fret because I uploaded a couple of pics from last year. I carved the house and the hubby carved the scarecrow! Thanks for stopping by for a visit!  Brandi
