Hola! The work week is almost over! Whoo hoo! I am so ready for the weekend. This week one of my guilty pleasures was released on DVD (Gossip Girl, Season 3). I know it is a teeny-bopper show but I love it. I stayed up late last night watching some episodes on my laptop while the hubby slept and boy am I paying for it now. I needed some strong coffee to get through the day. I wish I could say that won't happen again tonight but I can't promise! :) I wanted to share a card that I made the other night using my new flower embellishments. I bought these cute little flowers at ACMoore. Normally I would see them used on vintage style cards, but I thought they would work well for my clean and simple style. Hey girls! I hope y'all had a Happy Tuesday! I wanted to share a quick card I made using some blog candy I won recently from  Courtney at Practicing Creativity Designs.  I was lucky enough to receive her latest stamp set called "The Whole Cycle"! It is so cute with the various bicycles and accessories. You can view it  here  at the PC store. The images are so fun to color with Copics or markers. I didn't feel the need to add much to the card because I didn't want to take away from the cute image.    Thanks for stopping by and an extra thank you for all the wonderful comments I have received lately. Hello ladies, I am popping in to share a sweet and tasty card I made for the latest Scrappy Saturday  Challenge #19 at Wee Memories. The challenge was to incorporate a sweet treat and ribbon for a card. I decided to use this cupcake image from Papertrey Ink for my focal point. My hubby and I are lovin' the cupcakes lately! We have a local cupcake shop that sells the best red velvet cupcakes. Yummy! I stopped by and picked him up a couple for his 33rd birthday last week. They also sell little peanut butter cupcakes for doggies with dog treats as a topping. Let's say it was a delicious night for us and our little westies to! Thanks for stopping by, Brandi

Hey girlies! I made it back from NYC with the family and we had a wonderful time. We did not rest until the car ride home. We were on the go with shopping, dining and touring neighborhoods. Time Square at night is amazing! The lights, sounds and all the people made us not realize how late it was. It literally is a city that never sleeps. I have been a few times but it all still amazes me. I will have to post a few pics once I get them downloaded but in the mean time I thought I would share a random "Thank you" card I made. Hey chicas, Just popping in to share a card I made for the latest Shabby Tea Room  Challenge, House and Home.  They provided a wonderful image and gorgeous color palette to use, so pop on over and check it out to participate. Well my brother and his wife made it in last night from Arkansas and we stayed up super late chatting and hanging out. It was so great to see them. Good Morning Chicas! It is so early here, but up and cheery I must be! I have a big week ahead of me. Not only do I have a job to get to but I have a list, a mile long, of things to get accomplished before my family comes this weekend! My brother and his wife are visiting from Arkansas, awesome! They are coming for a whole week and I have so many things planned (a trip in the city (NYC), horse track in Saratoga Springs, restaurants and shopping)! I can't wait! It has been almost a year since I have seen them. I have attached a card I made for the latest EBTKS Challenge involving buttons! Buttons are one of my favorite embellishments to use on cards.
