Hey girls, Wow was this Monday hard to get through or what? I had to start my morning off at 5 so I have been dragging. Thank goodness the work part is over so I can relax and kick up my feet! I wanted to pop in to share a card I made for the latest 2S4Y Challenge # 57.  I took the Christmas route with this challenge. Hey you can never be too early!  Did any of you see the movie "Salt" this weekend? The hubby and I saw it on Friday and we thought it was so good! Maybe I am bias because part of it was filmed where I live. Although the movie took place in Washington D.C., they filmed the chase scenes in Albany, NY.  Pretty neat! Thanks for stopping by! Brandi

Hey y'all, While the hubby is relaxing watching television, I was able to hop down to my craft room to come up with a card for the latest 2S4Y  Challenge . I thought that this layout would be pretty hard at first but once I rotated it, I thought "wow" I see a tree trunk in bloom! I have been dying to use my new wood grain stamp from PTI and my little birdie die from Stampin Up! Alright I am off to look at the rest of the entries! Have a great night! Brandi

Hey y'all, I absolutely love making CAS cards (Clean and Simple). I guess you could say that most of the cards I make resemble that style. I found this new  blog  that is right up my alley, called Cas-Tastic Wednesday Challenge. The  challenge this week is to create a CAS card using Kraft paper! I love the latest trend of using Kraft paper. It is so versatile and goes with every color of the rainbow. Edited to add: I remembered where I saw this hanging chandelier idea from here! Hey y'all, My good blogger friend Sarah is having a fun fruity challenge over at her blog. I couldn't wait to play! I brought out one of my favorite stamp sets, "Everyday Button Bits", from Papertrey Ink. I love to incorporate buttons with the stamps. So cute! I hope you are staying cool where you are. Hey girls! Did you have a wonderful holiday weekend? The hubby and I had a great time hanging with friends, swimming and barbecuing. I also went to see Eclipse, so that made me really happy! I thought it was a great movie, but then again I love the book series. I was really surprised to see so many men in the theater. When Matt and I went to see New Moon last year he was one of the few guys there. He is definitely a trooper! I created a card for the latest 2S4Y  challenge #56. I was in the mood for bright colors, and I had to add the little pom-poms.  I wanted to thank all of you who left me comments on the last 2S4Y challenge and any other post recently. Hey girls, Recently I have noticed a trend in a few blogs that I follow. Many bloggers have made lists to share a little bit about themselves. I love reading the lists because it makes me feel like I get to know some of my blogger friends a little better. I wanted to do the same thing in hopes that some of you will find some things in common with me. Here are ten facts about me: 1. I am learning how to cook at the moment, and by cook I mean the basics (rice, pasta, boiled potatoes, etc). I once caught the kitchen on fire cooking mac-n-cheese on the stove. Yikes! 2. I have a slight obsession with Disney World. The hubby and I go once a year. I even have a toaster that sings M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E when the toast pops out. 3. I feel that the food service industry is against me. I am a creature of habit, so when I am at a restaurant I always order the same thing (everytime).
