Hey y'all! Woo Hoo we made it through the middle of the week. Hump day is officially over. Do any of you have exciting plans this weekend? The hubby and I are going out to dinner with our best friends. They are expecting there first child in June so we are going out to celebrate while we can before the bundle of joy comes!!!! It seems like there is something in the water with all of my friends that are expecting! You know what that means for me? Mommy-to-be cards, Baby Shower cards and Baby arrival cards are in the works! This is not a baby card because I am still on the Valentine's Day bandwagon. I just love this cherry stamp from Stampin' Up! It is sooooo yummy! I don't know about you but chocolate covered cherries and strawberries are one of my guilty pleasures! This card is based on a sketch by 2S4Y (2 sketches 4 you). Have a good night! Brandi

Hey girls! Hope you had a wonderful weekend and an extra mini holiday for those of you off yesterday. My weekend, I tell you, was awesome considering my NY JETS won their second play-off game. One more to go until the Super Bowl! This coming weekend is going to be tough, when we take on the COLTS! I have to send a shout out to my new friend Lynnette (a huge COLTS fan!) I love this new website I found while jumping from blog to blog, Clean and Simple Stamping. They have the cutest ideas and great inspiration for making simple cards. Hey y'all, I tell you what, I am on a roll this week with challenges! I have been able to set aside some time to actually make cards and upload them to the Internet at lightning speed! Ha! No seriously I was blessed with a laptop for Christmas so it has made it easier for me to be able to do more in the "Blog World"! One of my all-time new blog sites to visit is Embellish magazine! They have wonderful challenges involving color combos and embellishes. This week the colors were red, pink, black and white (if needed). The embellishments were hearts! What a perfect combination for a Valentine's Day card! On a side note have any of you been watching "American Idol"? I have watched it on and off the past couple of days. I am not sure what to think about it just yet. I always love the beginning rounds where they have the best of the best and the worst of the worst! I heard a rumor that Simon is leaving after this season so we will see how long the show will last

Hey! I popped over to Dawn's blog where I found this fun little color challenge . Once I saw the colors I knew they would be great to use on a baby boy card! I took a trip down south this summer to visit my family. While I was there we stopped at this mom and pop scrapbook store where I found these cute little rubber stamps. Hey y'all! I wanted to post a card I made for the Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger challenge last week before my TV shows start. I don't know if you guys feel the same way I do about television lately but this hiatus that the networks have been on due to the holidays is making me crazy! Wow! We are super excited!!!! Our JETS just won their first playoff game! Only two more to go until the "Super Bowl"! Fingers crossed!!! I attached a family photo of the event and yes our dogs have jerseys as well!

Hello!!! I wanted to pop in to share a card with you that I made for EBTKS (Everything But The Kitchen Sink) challenge. I just found this website and absolutely love it! The girls that thought up these challenges are truly unique. Every couple of weeks a challenge is presented that involves making a card with a certain household item. From toothpicks to toilet paper. You name it and the sky's the limit. This weeks household item is "Wrapping Paper". I know Christmas has just passed and I have many wrapping paper scraps laying around, but I am done with the Christmas theme. Time to move on to something new! I bought this cute wrapping paper a year ago just because it was so adorable. I had no idea what I would ever use it for until now! Do you like the fishy???? I pretty much let the paper speak for itself and added a few embellishments and my favorite polka dot ribbon. What do you think? Thanks for taking a peek! Brandi

Where did the weekend go? I have had to much fun relaxing, playing guitar hero (hubby's Christmas gift) and watching movies. The night is not yet over though, we are about to go to the in-laws to watch the Jets take on the Bengals for a play-off spot. Go Jets! I wanted to pop in to share a card with you I made for last weeks Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab World! I love these little challenges every week! I used this particular challenge to create a birthday card for a family member. Nothing beats the gift of giving or receiving homemade cards! I wanted to leave one last image with you below. I went with the hubby to the spa today and found these cute little cupcakes in the gift shop. They are bath fizzes that you drop in the bath. Don't they look so yummy? I had to buy a couple, three or four!!!! SOOOO CUTE! Hope you all have a great start to the New Year! Brandi
