Happy Holidays...

Hey y'all, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I know I sure did! My mom came up from Arkansas to visit the hubby and I for a few days in New York and boy was she in for a surprise with the weather. She experienced the snow in all its unpredictable glory! It wasn't to bad, we were able to get out and do some things that I had planned for us. The hubby had to work most of the time (you know those mail carriers, come hail, sleet or snow the mail must be delivered) so my mom and I had a girls day out. We had massages at Kimberley's a Day Spa (How beautiful is this place?) So cozy! If you get there early you can relax by the fire place and drink a nice cold glass of cucumber water to relax...... Afterwards we went for a nice little lunch at Panera's. Love their baked potato soup and panini's (YUM!), then we headed out to see "Wicked"! This was my second favorite Broadway showing (other than "Rent", of course). Christmas Day we woke up to a beau

Hey y'all, I went out to finish some Christmas shopping today, almost all done! This year has been pretty easy compared to others regarding picking the right gift out for everyone. I was just finishing up when it started to snow. So I headed home to wrap the gifts. I got through three and had to take a break! Wrapping, taping, ribbon curling and bows, Oh my! It can be a bit tedious! So I decided to take the time to upload a card I made this weekend for a Moxie Fab World Challenge. This challenge involved making a card using some little "critter"! Since I am in love with owls lately, I decided to use these cute little holiday owls to make a birthday card for someone! Thanks for stopping by! Brandi

Winter Wonderland...

Hey y'all, Guess what, we finally experienced our first snowfall of the season yesterday! I absolutely love the snow! It makes everything seem so peaceful and gorgeous! We got about 3 inches so the hubby and I stayed in and watched college football by the fire! This morning I got up before everyone and went to the craft room to make a few cards. This is usually when I am able to find the time to craft! With a full time job and a family (hubby and 2 dogs) to take care of, sometimes I enjoy those quiet moments in the craft room to create! Below is a card I made for two challenges at Moxie Fab (Old World Christmas and Tuesday Trigger). Hope you all have a warm and cozy rest of the weekend! Brandi
