Hey y'all, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I had my share of turkey and mashed potatoes to last me another year! The day after, the hubby and I put up our Christmas tree and all of the trimmings! A Christmas tree with white lights sure can make a home cozy! Don't you think? All I need to do now is finish a little shopping and I am good to go. I did not venture out for the biggest shopping day of the year! I would not be able to deal with the chaos, much rather internet shop! It is faster and I can do it in my jogging suit! Below I attached a card I did for the latest Embellish challenge. Problem #1, I did not enter it on time. Problem #2, I forgot to use the main embellish, BRADS! Duh! Oh well I'll get it right next time. Brandi

Hey y'all! What a weekend the hubby and I had! Our little dogs love to chase squirrels! We have a deck built on the back of our house with three little steps that lead out to the yard. Once we open the backdoor to let the dogs out, they are on the loose and love to dive off the deck, over the steps, to chase the squirrels! Well if you want to know what could happen, then look at the image below! Our youngest, Stoops, found out the hard way. Poor little thing has a deep tissue bruise at her elbow and had to be put in a soft cast. I felt so bad for her but could not help but take a picture of how cute she looked in her itty-bitty cast. I spent most of the weekend caring for her but the hubby and I did get out to watch the movie, 4th Kind! It was really good but eerie knowing it was based on true events! Can't wait for next Friday! It is the opening for New Moon! If any of you guys are into the Twilight series then you know what I am gushing about! I am officially counting down!

Hey y'all! I hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. I know I sure did. The hubby and I locked ourselves in the house on Sunday (away from everyone and everything) and rented four movies. We just enjoyed the day. We rarely get those moments, but when we do we definitely like to take advantage! The movies we rented were Land Of The Lost (Not funny, really starting to not like Will Farrell so much anymore. I feel that his last few movies have been duds!), I Love You Beth Cooper (Super funny, yet very awkward at points), Transformers 2 (The hubby's choice) and Phelum 123 (Excellent)! Well enough with the movie critiques. I did, however, have time to whip up a quick card for the latest Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger Challenge. The image provided was so pretty! Hey y'all! I hope you all had a great Halloween! The hubby and I went out with a few friends to a local sports bar to watch the Yankees take on the Phillies. Since I am a fan of neither team (NY Mets fan), I just went to have fun! I spent a little bit of time in the studio today and made a card for the Embellish Owl Color Challenge.
